6 Yard green waste dumpster Rebate program

Measure T funds offer up to $75 reimbursement for a 6-yard Green Waste dumpster rental to help you remove vegetation and create defensible space. Submit a paid receipt from Tahoe Truckee Sierra Disposal for reimbursement.

Green Waste Dumpster Rental Information:

  1. Contact Tahoe Truckee Sierra Disposal (TTSD) for pricing and to reserve a dumpster [530-583-7800].

  2. Ensure dumpster is used for green waste only - no bags or household waste.

  3. Complete rebate request form.

    Submit a paid receipt from TTSD, along with your name, the delivery address, and your preferred mailing address.

  4. Receive Rebate:

    Rebate checks are mailed within 30 days after the request is submitted and the dumpster is picked up.

REBATE RULES:

  • Limited Availability: Program is first-come, first-served while funds last.

  • Limit: One dumpster rebate is available per property, per year. (Truckee Fire will reimburse 1 dumpster, though TTSD allows up to 2 rentals per season).

  • Eligibility: Property must be within the Truckee Fire Protection District boundaries. [Check District Map].
