6 Yard green waste dumpster Rebate program

Truckee Fire offers rebates for 75% of the rental cost of a 6-yard Green Waste dumpster.

Green Waste Dumpster Rental Information:

  1. Reserve a dumpster from Tahoe Truckee Sierra Disposal (TTSD) [530-583-7800].

  2. Ensure dumpster is used for green waste only - no bags or household waste.

  3. Complete rebate request form.

    Submit a paid receipt from TTSD, along with your name, the delivery address, and your preferred mailing address.

  4. Receive the Rebate:

    Rebate checks are mailed within 30 days after the request is submitted and the dumpster is picked up.

REBATE RULES:

  • Limited Availability: Program is first-come, first-served while funds last.

  • Limit: One dumpster rebate per property, per year for Town of Truckee Residents. Two dumpster rebates are available per property, per year for Unincorporated Placer Co & Nevada Co residents within TFPD. 

  • Eligibility: Property must be within the Truckee Fire Protection District boundaries. [Check District Map].
