ISO RATING:
Truckee Fire Protection District has an ISO Rating of 4/4X. The majority of the District belongs to ISO Rating 4, with a few outlying areas belonging to Rating 4X. Of these 4X areas, most notable are structures located in the community of Floriston, as well as any structures in areas without ready access to a fire hydrant.

*Note: Only staffed stations (92, 95, 96, & 97) are on-call to respond 24 hours, every day. Residential stations (93, 94, & 98) respond as available, but are not on-call.
DISTRICT RESPONSE TIMES:
The District is divided into 10 minute, 20 minute, and ASAP response times. However, it might be beneficial to enter your property address into a mapping app to find the drive time and distance to the nearest staffed responding station (listed above).
PAID OR VOLUNTEER DISTRICT?
Truckee Fire Protection District is a Paid Fire District.
HYDRANTS:
The Fire District does not own or service fire hydrants. Hydrants are privately owned and maintained by the local water purveyor or owned by the Public Utility District in that area. To obtain the most accurate hydrant information, contact the water purveyor for your property.
