MITIGATION FEES
All permits for construction within the Truckee Fire Protection District are subject to Development Impact/Fire Mitigation fees and must be paid prior to permit issuance. All projects require a plan review; you will need to submit a complete set of plans to be reviewed by Truckee Fire.

PLACER COUNTY: Submit your Permit Issuance Checklist.
NEVADA COUNTY: Submit your Preliminary Building Permit.
TOWN OF TRUCKEE:
Residential: No fees required. Fees will be collected by the Town of Truckee upon the issuance of your permit.
Commercial Projects: Upload your Non-residential/Tenant Improvement Permit Request that includes your square footage breakdown (industrial, commercial, and office).
Please allow 3 business days for our staff to calculate the fees due and respond to you via email. We accept all major credit/debit cards (3.5% convenience fee applies) or personal checks, which can be mailed to the address below:
