All permits for construction within the Truckee Fire Protection District are subject to Development Impact/Fire Mitigation fees and must be paid prior to permit issuance. All projects require a plan review; you will need to submit a complete set of plans to be reviewed by Truckee Fire.

  • PLACER COUNTY:  Submit your Permit Issuance Checklist.

  • NEVADA COUNTY:  Submit your Preliminary Building Permit.

  • TOWN OF TRUCKEE:

    • Residential: No fees required. Fees will be collected by the Town of Truckee upon the issuance of your permit.

    • Commercial Projects: Upload your Non-residential/Tenant Improvement Permit Request that includes your square footage breakdown (industrial, commercial, and office).
