Firewise Community Green waste Dumpster Reimbursement

Truckee Fire, with funding from Measure T, offers reimbursement for up to four 20-yard or 30-yard Green Waste dumpsters for Firewise Community workdays.

Requirements:

  • Must be a current or developing Firewise Community to use this program.

  • Firewise Community must be within the Truckee Fire Protection District boundaries. [Check District Map].

How to Qualify For Reimbursement:

  1. Contact Tahoe Truckee Sierra Disposal (TTSD) to arrange rental [530-583-7800].

  2. Coordinate the workday and manage dumpster drop-off and pick-up.

  3. Ensure dumpsters are used for green waste only.

  4. Complete reimbursement form and provide a paid receipt from TTSD.

  5. Receive Rebate:

    Rebate checks are mailed within 30 days after the request is submitted and the dumpster is picked up.Reimbursement check will be mailed within 30 days after the reimbursement request has been submitted and the dumpster(s) have been picked up.


Program Information:

  • Limited Availability: Program is first-come, first-served while funds last.

  • Limit: Up to 4 (four) 20 or 30 yard green waste dumpsters per Firewise community.
